Taste and Travel with Travis
A BLOG ABOUT INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND TRAVEL
Germany
Below you will find pics from a trip to Germany. I spent the majority of my time in Bavaria, with most of my stay in Munich. I am also an organist, and had the opportunity to visit many churches and play about 15 different pipe organs. The organs pictured are not instruments I was able to play, as they are located in very busy touristy areas, but there were plenty of other beautiful instruments in smaller churches and some in a private residence which I was able to play. I made this special trip to have the great opportunity to play lots of music by J. S. Bach in the country where he was born and lived. Pictured below is Lukaskirche, which houses a beautiful pipe organ. I was fortunate to play the instrument housed in this most reverberant stone building.
I also visited Nymphenburg Palace, Munich Botanical Gardens, and enjoyed plenty of delicious German food and beer!

Amazing to see these cold, uninhabited areas from the plane on the way home.
