Kerala Food and Scenery

Some of the world's tastiest and spiciest food can be found while travelling in Kerala, India.

I had the opportunity on my second trip to "God's Own Country" to photograph more delicious

food.   In these pictures you will find food from restaurants and food cooked at home.

I had the opportunity to see Kerala during the monsoon season this time.   There was plenty of sun, but

at least one rainstorm each day.   It rained all day in the misty mountains of Munnar, but there were

plenty of waterfalls and the landscape was lush and green.

Munnar:   Tea country

Below are pictures of the misty mountains of Munnar, covered with tea.

Lots of waterfalls of many sizes can be seen, especially

during the rainy season.

The tea leaves are harvested from the top of the plants by hand and collected in sacks.
